 I have been spending most of myChristmas Break playing Birth by Sleep

Was using Aqua first

I dunno why I chosed Aqua first

I just know I dont want to use Terra first

As the story progressed though,  started to think I was wrong and should have chosen Terra first

But I still continued on and Moved on and finished it with her. She’s okay to use

Just that personality wise

she’s sorta…blank o___o;

so anyway I did finish it and im now using Terra

OMG I hate Terra

I am now realizing that my choice to use Aqua first was Correct

Cause If I used Terra first I would have quit the game

Was practicing with SAI

I thiught Id try sketching in SAI for a change

OC, Sai and PS

Taking a break from coloring Lean On, Matsu

My hands are growing tired again LOL

Due to the crappiness that is my Old Computer, I have grew to love and depend on Open Canvas 1.1 when I got and started t develop my skills in using a Tablet

Though I still maintain that Photoshop is better in my opinion (was using PS7)
But because my Comp was crappy (it was a old Pentium 3 computer ) I could not maximize the use of the tablet.

I use PS7 without much problem before I had a tablet. I was contented with scanning my Pics and coloring by mouse, which I think Im actually good at … LOL (cause… i still love SOME of my old works which i did using a mouse )
I loved how rich the colors are which I could not really do in OC 1.1. They look a bit light… I like how PS produces rich colours :3

However, even if i have gotten myself a SLIGHTLY better computer (note the emphasis on slightly, its a NEO Q-Note that runs in celeron? i think ) I could not feel comfortable drawing in PS… drawing …not colouring….. Coloring is fine however i had a problem…

I like coloring with THICK LINES and since i’m bad at linearting…and could not find a good lineart software back then (cant in OC, shaky, Cant in PS..its hard.. i mean its possible but its hard o__O ) i just made my self contented with just “painting” LOL XD;

I think Im pretty ok with it

But, It always looked messy
I mean yeah, im a messy sketcher
But back in the day I still draw and lineart MANUALLY i always manage to clean it up nicely .. ( i love you tracing paper)

and since i decided to skip the whole process of Inking… the mess that is my sketch remains…
I think thats what I like about my old art
Its clean
Dont get me wrong
I do like my sketches
I still think sometimes my sketches looks better than the finish product
but…
i still wish theyd be a bit CLEANER

LOL

Anyway, then there comes SAI, i thought it was my salvation
But LOL remember, i was still on the Slightly Better Computer XD (The Q-Note)
though it doesnt eat as much RAM as PS, Sai still makes the comp slow
So I seldom had patience in using it… so i wasnt able to practice linearting
I still remained with OC

(I just realized, its like Im telling a love affair with Art Softwares LOL )

So then, I finally able to get my self a GREAT computer XD (Its Gamer Specs XD )
But then, since I’m so used to OC, I still use it LOOOOOOOL
I hardly ever touch PS and SAI

But I’ve slowly been using them…well Sai the most.. I mainly use PS for toning and Stuff… ( actually I have manga studio…but it confuses me at the moment LOL )

I dont really Know

At The moment
I still LOVE sketching in OC the best
But I like experimenting
So Im trying to see how to color better…to get the effect I want

Hence you often hear me comment in my drawings “I dont know how im colouring this”

cause, I dunno what technique or what Software to use

For Lean On, Matsu, I actually tried using PS CS4 first but… I didnt feel right, So I shifted in SAI
I guess im getting use to it at the moment

But I think I would still be sketching with OC first :3

But We never know.. maybe id shift to SAI exclusively in the future *shrug*
Dunno really LOL
